X Factor LA Auditions without Celebrity Judges

The X Factor Auditions in LA ( Los Angeles) officially kicked off the USA Version of The X Factor on March 27, 2011 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Depending upon which source you rely upon there were between 15,ooo and 18,000 people lined up to audition.

But there were no judges in sight. No Simon Cowell, No Antonio Reid, no rumored celebrity judges anywhere. It appears this audition was in front of producers and talent scouts for the new FOX reality show.

With $5 million on the line and recording contract with Sony, the prize is among the largest of any reality Tv Contest.

Here is a short video from the producers about the LA X Factor Auditions.

“Firstly, you can be 12 years old, up to any age, so there’s no age cap. You can be 60, 70, 80 years old,” talking about the differences between X Factor and American Idol, whose age range is merely 15 to 28. “The other big difference is you can be a soloist, but you can also be a group. You can be a boy band, a girl band, a duo and enter.”

Further auditions are will be held through May in various cities. Click here for The X Factor 2011 Auditions

My daughter went with friends to one of your shows, they came as guests to friends for a good cause. She came in a dress, appropriate for the show. She was at the end of an isle and was told where to sit next to people she knew before the show. She had a ticket to be with these people. We entrusted these people to watch over her. Right before the show, a security man came and told her she had to move. They escourted her to the back, where they sat her behind a pole, next to people she did not know. She is 15 years old, turned 15 May 2. Very young, very impressionable and cried all night after the way you treated her. I don’t understand a program…family geared treating someone so cruelly. She went on May 22nd, 2011. For this…you lost a fan base, a family unit. My older daughter who goes to college witnessed her hurt, my younger daughter went with her high school friends, they all saw what you did, and you definitely affected us as a family. We wont watch your program.

    Michelle,

This is a Fan based website and has no contact, or association with anyone from FOX or XFactor itself. That being said, I am glad you did comment and let your story be told.

Maybe someone at FOX or Xfactor will actually read your complaint.

Personally I am sorry you had to deal with those issues, but I am just a webmaster who is a Fan of reality television, but your Voice and Concerns are now public on the World wide web.

Hopefully others will also voice their experiences and if enough are voiced then something may been done to remedy negative concerns.
