X-Factor Results Night 12-1-11 – RECAP

Sorry that I didn’t get videos up the night before. But, you know, I do have other jobs, and ones that people actually pay attention too. DOES ANYONE READ THIS? Oh good lordddyyyy. Anyway, for that one person that does (my Mom) here is a brief recap of the night before.

Astro

The night before, the top seven contestants performed songs from the Michael Jackson (and Jackson 5). Out of all the Michael Jackson songs they could have done, we’ll just say that Melanie Amaro probably had the best one and was the one with the best performance. To top it off, they even had some of Michael’s brothers, his mother and his three children watching the performances. Who wants to bet that the Jackson’s are making some money off of this? Was that bad to say? You know it’s true. Aside from that, the kids have all grown up a LOT, and Paris is a freakin’ gorgeous girl. There’s still something wrong with that Blanket kid though.

Here’s what the contestants sang, and if they were safe. In no particular order (as that annoying arse host would say).

Josh Krajcik – Dirty Diana – SAFE
Rachel Crow – Can You Feel It m- SAFE
Marcus Canty – Pretty Young Thing – SAFE
Melanie Amaro – Earth Song – SAFE
Chris Rene – I’ll Be There – SAFE
Astro – Black or white – VOTED OFF X-FACTOR
Drew Ryniewicz – Billy Jean – VOTED OFF X-FACTOR

Recently, we’ve seen that it’s not always the best performances that generate the votes. I realized this as soon an Chris Rene was the first to make it through. I love his story, but I can honestly say he’s the worst one in this competition.

Astro was the first to go, and he was arguably the biggest talent in the competition. Even if you hated his little egomanical attitude, he still had some serious skill.

Marcus Canty and Drew have the next two lowest votes and have to sing for their lives. The judges vote and with the exception of Simon everyone else votes Drew off the show. She was notably hurt by the whol thing, as would any 14 year old girl be… and what’s sad is not only did the show lose the best talent, but also 2 of the 3 kids. I like all the younger ones, they’re better than the elders (lawl).

So, what did you guys think? Was Drew too boring? Did the Astro (nauts) jump off the space ship? Leave your comments in the comment section below.
